Regional Voice Theatre provide a platform for established and new poets and performers from across the UK, presenting renowned established authors, alongside emerging new regional talent.
Our aim? – to raise the platform for contemporary poetry, crafting a controlled theatre space in which performers and readers can deliver their work. No frills, no slams. No open mics.
We currently run two poetry events every year, one in Spring and in the Summer. This year Love Poetry welcomed long-standing Seren poet Paul Henry to the stage, joined by vibrant Scottish writer Janette Ayachi Birmingham’s former poet laureate Roy McFarlane, Samantha Hunt, and a live acoustic set from Hannah Brown.
Preparations for our Summer event are under way. If you would be interested in working with us please contact us: regionalvoicetheatre@gmail.com. Please note, support performances are submission only.
